On January 15, CBEAD held the appointment ceremony for the second batch of international distinguished professors and the second online seminar on international development and exchange. Qiu Baolin, Secretary of the Party committee of CBEAD, Vice president Tan Yue and other colleagues attended the meeting.

The second batch of appointed experts include Zhao Dawei, founding director and senior researcher of Asia-Pacific Division of the Institute for Research and Education on Negotiation of ESSEC Business School, Chen Guoli, Professor of INSEAD, Chiang Cheng-Yin, associate professor of Waseda University and East Asia Division of International Department, Ge bin, Visiting Professor of Stanford University and China Project Consultant of Asia Pacific Center, Gu Qingyang, Professor of  the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, （LKYSPP) of National University of Singapore and academic director of China senior management training course, and Professor Olaf Plötner, former dean of ESMT Executive Education.

In his speech at the appointment ceremony, Qiu Baolin pointed out that this year marks the 15^th anniversary of the establishment of CBEAD, and we have ushered in a new development stage. The appointment of the international distinguished professors is a strategic arrangement to achieve "world-class with Chinese characteristics" and to promote the international influence and improve the international academic atmosphere of CBEAD.

CBEAD will provide distinguished professors with good work and living conditions, making them feel at home. It is expected that distinguished professors will give full play to the role of the think tank, offer advice and suggestions for the international development of CBEAD.

After the appointment ceremony, the 2^nd International Development &Exchange Seminar was held. The guests attending the seminar included the second batch of international distinguished professors, as well as six professors of the first batch. They offer their valuable opinions on the first international EMT program designed and developed by CBEAD and the international development of CBEAD in the new era. The seminar provided useful reference for CBEAD to serve the BRI, and to develop into the base for international cooperation, talent introduction and innovation for SASAC central enterprises, and to create a first-class national education and training institution for government officials.
